National Law Day Award-2008

MMTC Limted Chief General Manager Ashok Sharma was conferred the "National Law Day Award-2008" for his "outstanding contribution to pratice of law relating to public sector undertakings" by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at a conference on "Terrorism, Rules of Law and Human Rights" in the Capital over the weekend.

With 34 years of experience, Mr Sharma is a member of the Governing Council , International Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution [ ICADR ], New Delhi, Executive Committee, ICC-India [Indian Chapter of International Chamber of Commerce Paris ( ICC-Paris) ], ICC Commission on Arbitration, Governing Body, Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA) ; Standing Legal Committee, SCOPE, New Delhi ; Governing Body, SCOPE Forum of Conciliation & Arbitration [SFCA]. He is listed in In-house Counsel Register 2008 , a quintessential guide to leading corporate counsel in Asia, of Asia Law & Practice Hong Kong .
